Day Seventeen
Well, as I said earlier, today has been a little discouraging. I hope to see a difference tomorrow. I did get a bit of good news today though. I am heading out to training next week where breakfast and lunch are provided. I wrote the training sponser and found out that both meals will at least have some SBD friendly foods.
My meal journal for the day is as follows:
- Breakfast – four eggs, four small pieces of turkey sausage, and ten cherry tomatoes
- Mid-morning snack – half an apple and two tablespoons of organic, natural peanut butter
- Lunch – three cups of salad with my homemade salad dressing and a can of tuna
- Mid-afternoon snack – two boiled eggs
- Supper – A small T-bone steak, a very large helping of steamed zucchini and yellow squash, five cherry tomatoes, and four strawberries dipped in semi-sweet chocolate (I know, I know, this isn’t approved on the diet, but my wife made it thinking it was and I didn’t have the heart to tell her different. Besides, it is my birthday, I’ll behave better tomorrow.)
- Mid-evening snack – a piece of sirloin steak and a boiled egg with mayonnaise
