So last night I went back and looked at my weight and measurements over the last several months. That is when I realized I have had a net loss of half a pound since August 23rd. When I said I wanted to lose this last little bit slowly, that was not what I had in mind! I am in a very similar place to where I was in the spring. I was very comfortable, but still desiring a loss. When I finally got serious about it, I dropped another 25 pounds over four months. That ended August 23rd though. I think it has been long enough. I don’t need to lose another 25 pounds (I don’t think so anyhow), but I would like to lose a pound a week, or even just three pounds a month until I get to where I want to be. I gotta get with the program if I am going to do this though.
So, get with the program is what I did today. I rocked the workout today. I put in a solid 4.3 miles in 1:06:15! I followed that with a total of 90 push ups (3 sets of 30), 3 60-second front planks, 3 60-second side planks on each side, and Tabata squats with a score of 30! It was a great workout. Tomorrow I plan on walking 5+ miles.
I did pretty well on the eating today, with weight loss portions for both breakfast and lunch. I had my typical apple with natural walnut butter for breakfast. Lunch was a small chicken breast, some roast beef, and green beans. Mid-afternoon snack was 8-10 serrano peppers. Supper was three eggs and two pieces of turkey sausage. Mid-evening snack was two squares of 85% dark chocolate and walnut butter.
Tomorrow is going to be a long day. I have a busy day at work, and then I have two computer jobs tomorrow evening. I am not looking forward to it, but the extra money is nice.
Don’t forget, this upcoming Thursday’s post is a Q&A post – you ask and I’ll tell. I need more questions though. The ones I have gotten so far are good, but there aren’t many of them. Am I that much of an open book already?
