It sure feels nice to be back home. I had a long day of traveling today, which is always stressful. I did fairly well on the food today, although I ate too much after I made it here. I am going to have to remember to plan better next time. I really got hungry during the afternoon, which left me feeling a little bit sick (does that make sense?). It is so hard to find any acceptable food in an airport, and when you do, it is outrageously expensive.
My bronchitis is actually a little worse today. Still not bad, but worse than yesterday. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
My plans for the yard may be dashed for the weekend. My wife’s grandfather is in the hospital about 2 hours away, so we will be heading out to see him tomorrow. It sounds like the outlook is not good. He has had a tough few years, so I expect his time is near.

After I made it home tonight I roasted a cup of El Salvador Siberia Estate Bourbon coffee. I tried to do a little darker roast this evening, but I guess I was still a little shy on this because it is about the same roast I have been doing – a city roast. There is nothing wrong with this at all, I just wanted to experiment a little more. I am anxious to try this bean, but I am going to wait until Sunday.
